- Acute and critical care medicine, along with emergency medicine, will help create a new professional internist role in European hospitals.
The journal additionally publishes invited essays on clinical topics pertaining to internal medicine and public health in the following formats:
A commentary is a document written by the editors or a guest expert that provides commentary on an article that has been published in a particular issue.
